Notes and data

Where are my notes stored? On your iPhone, in a local database. There is no account and no Kipo server. If you delete the app, the notes go with it, so export first if you want to keep them.

Can I move Kipo to a new iPhone? Restoring the new phone from an iCloud or computer backup carries the journal over. There is no separate sync yet.

How do I export everything? Settings → Export everything. You get text, CSV or PDF, handed to the iOS share sheet. Export is free.

How do I delete my data? Delete a note from its page, or delete the app to remove everything. Kipo keeps no copy anywhere.

Reports

Why is my weekly report empty? A week needs a few notes before there is something to say. A quiet week is a normal week; the report says so and lets you add notes for past days.

Which reports are free? The weekly report, every week. Monthly, seasonal and yearly reports and the career review are part of Premium.

Where do the "popular words" come from? From your own notes, counted on the device. Kipo never rewrites or generates text.

Subscription

How do I cancel or change my plan? Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kipo. Cancelling keeps every note and every report you already opened.

I paid but Premium is not active. Open Kipo → Settings → Subscription → Restore purchase. If that does not help, write to us with the approximate purchase date.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy

Does Kipo read or upload my notes? No. Nothing you write leaves the phone. Details are in the privacy policy.

How do I turn off analytics? Settings → "Share anonymous usage". The app works exactly the same with it off.

Reminders are switched off in Settings → Reminders, or by removing the notification permission in iOS Settings.
